Terms of use

By purchasing or using Cromoteca, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable, not exhaustive legalese.

License

Cromoteca is sold as a $12/month subscription for macOS, billed monthly through Stripe. An active subscription grants you a personal license to install and use the app, and includes ongoing updates and new features delivered through the app's built-in updater. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the current billing period. If your subscription lapses, the installed app keeps working, but new update downloads require an active subscription.

Acceptable use

Use Cromoteca for media you own, created, licensed, or are authorized to save. Do not use Cromoteca to download, copy, or distribute media you do not have the right to save, and do not use it to bypass paywalls, DRM, or access controls. You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of any site you use and with applicable copyright law.

Downloaded material is intended solely for personal archival, reference, or inspiration. It may not be used commercially, published, resold, sublicensed, or otherwise redistributed, in whole or in part, without permission from the rights holder.

Software provided "as is"

Cromoteca is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The app depends on third-party sites that can change at any time, which may affect downloads. Local transcription quality varies with audio conditions and is not guaranteed to be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Updates & support

We aim to keep Cromoteca working and to provide reasonable support by email. We may release updates that change or improve features. We don't guarantee compatibility with every future macOS version, but we intend to keep the app current.

Payments & refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Because Cromoteca is a digital product delivered immediately, refunds are handled case by case — if the app doesn't work for you, email support and we'll try to make it right.
